Tonight’s episode of *EastEnders* will see a major twist in Sonia Jackson’s (Natalie Cassidy) trial for the murder of Debbie, a crime she did not commit.

Not only is he responsible for Debbie’s murder, but he has also been holding Bianca (Patsy Palmer) hostage in a storage container since Christmas,
keeping her fed and under lock and key while he continues his manipulative plan. In recent episodes, Bianca has grown desperate, knowing that her only hope of escape is to help Sonia. But in a dramatic twist, she suggests to Reiss that she should confess to Debbie’s murder in order to clear Sonia’s name.
This dangerous idea becomes the centerpiece of Reiss’s new plan. At first, he dismisses Bianca’s suggestion, but after an unexpected conversation with Ruby (Louisa Lytton) in the Square, Reiss decides to take the risk and asks Bianca to record a confession. In a panic, Reiss takes a drastic step, cornering one of the jury members and forcing her to watch Bianca’s confession video in the hopes of influencing her decision. They don’t believe that Bianca is confessing to the crime out of the goodness of her heart and are convinced that she is merely doing it to protect her sister.
