Nearly two years after finalizing her divorce from General Hospital star Steve Burton, Sheree Burton has found love again and officially tied the knot with Jason Amador. 

The fitness trainer shared the exciting news on Instagram, celebrating the new chapter in her life.

A New Beginning for Sheree Burton

On Tuesday, February 11, Sheree, 47, took to social media to announce her wedding to Jason, 53. 

“Dream come true,” she captioned a heartfelt post, revealing their wedding date as February 7, 2025. 

The accompanying video montage showcased special moments from the ceremony, 

with Jason looking dapper in a gray suit while Sheree stunned in a strapless ivory gown designed by Galia Lahav.

The couple’s love story has been unfolding since at least 2023, with the two welcoming daughters Izabella in February 2023 and Addy in February 2024. Sheree also shares three older children with her former husband, Steve Burton, 54, whom she was married to for over two decades.

Embracing Life and Love in Their 40s and 50s

In December 2024, Sheree opened up about her journey with Jason, sharing how their unexpected love story led to the expansion of their family. “We started our family four years ago,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Two (unplanned) pregnancies in my 40s, bringing two angels into this world [and] pushing each other to be the best physically, parents, nutritionally, versions of ourselves.”

Sheree admitted that neither she nor Jason had anticipated having two more children later in life, but they fully embraced the experience. She also challenged societal norms regarding age and parenthood. “He said, ‘Obviously, this can happen at your age, but it’s not the norm.’ But why can’t it be the ‘norm’?” she questioned.

She encouraged others to break free from age-related limitations, adding, “Why do we allow age or society to tell us we can’t do something, or we just stop doing something because of our age?” Despite the initial shock, she described the experience as “amazing” and credited their commitment to health and wellness for making it possible.

A Look Back at Sheree and Steve Burton’s Split

Before finding happiness with Jason, Sheree was married to General Hospital star Steve Burton for 23 years. However, their relationship came to an end in May 2022 under dramatic circumstances.

Steve publicly announced their separation, revealing that Sheree was expecting a child who was not his. “I wanted to clear something up,” he shared via Instagram Stories at the time. “Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her fourth child. The child is not mine. We are still coparenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”

Shortly after, in July 2022, Steve officially filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. The proceedings concluded in December 2023, marking the official end of their marriage.

A Fresh Start for Sheree and Jason

Now, Sheree has embarked on a fresh chapter with Jason Amador, embracing love, family, and new beginnings. In her Instagram posts, she has consistently highlighted the importance of health and lifestyle in shaping their journey together. “I’m fully aware some people do all the ‘right things’ and still can’t conceive,” she acknowledged. “I believe all things happen for a reason, but I do know that taking care of your body can make a huge difference, and, for us, it literally has changed our lives. Lifestyle is key. Both of us make our health and wellness a priority.”
