After years in prison, Rob’s return to Weatherfield has sparked fresh intrigue, especially as his son, Bobby Crawford, visits him in jail and asks for a life-changing favor: 

Rob is asked to consider donating a kidney to Carla Connor, who is in desperate need of a transplant.

Initially, Rob scoffed at the request, but in Monday’s episode, things took an unexpected turn. 

Rob suddenly claims that he has found religion during his time in prison and wants to make amends, including helping his sister Carla. 

However, Bobby, who is skeptical of his father’s sudden change of heart, remains unsure about Rob’s sincerity.

The conversation between father and son is interrupted by a new inmate, Matty Radcliffe, who causes a major disturbance in the prison’s visiting area.
