General Hospital confirms Tracy Quartermaine’s fate as Drew launches a major campaign to take her down!

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is undeniably one of General Hospital’s most iconic and sharp-tongued characters,

known for her ability to stir up drama and dominate any scene she’s in. However, recent episodes have left many fans wondering: Is Tracy okay?

Her behavior has become increasingly erratic, and watching her clash with nearly every character in her path has raised some serious questions about her state of mind.

Tracy’s Takedown at the Nail Salon

One of the standout moments this week was when Martin (Michael E. Knight) delivered an epic takedown of Tracy at the nail salon.

His words, though laced with personal spite, had an undeniable ring of truth.

While some of Martin’s comments were motivated by his own grievances, his pointed observations about Tracy’s increasingly unhinged behavior couldn’t be ignored. For a character who is usually so composed and sharp, this sudden volatility is jarring.

The Quartermaine Matriarch’s Downward Spiral

Tracy has always been a force to be reckoned with, but recent episodes have seen her turn from being a tough matriarch to someone whose actions border on self-destructive. The absence of her “frenemy” Monica (Leslie Charleson), who has been more of a sparring partner than an actual rival, has left Tracy without her usual outlet for conflict. Without Monica to spar with, Tracy seems to be taking out her frustration on everyone around her.

The recent behavior has been puzzling. At times, Tracy seems almost unhinged, lashing out at people for minor infractions. It begs the question: Is Tracy simply bored, or is there something deeper going on? If there’s one thing General Hospital is known for, it’s that no one ever truly operates in a vacuum. Whether it’s grief, guilt, or a deeper psychological issue, Tracy’s increasingly erratic behavior has fans asking for a closer look at her mental state.

The Willow and Drew Vendetta: Is Tracy Playing the Long Game?

One area where Tracy has seemed particularly relentless is her vendetta against Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison). While Tracy’s dislike for Willow isn’t new, her vendetta against Drew is taking on a whole new intensity. In some ways, this mission to destroy Drew and his relationship with Willow has been the main driver of her actions lately.

Interestingly, Tracy’s strategy in this regard has been questioned by others in the Quartermaine family. Jason (Steve Burton) and Ned (Wally Kurth) have both pointed out that Tracy needs to take a more strategic approach. Instead of attacking Willow head-on, they advise Tracy to focus her energy on Drew and his influence over Willow. After all, if Willow were to decide to leave the Quartermaine mansion and live with Drew, it would likely push her further away from the family and from regaining custody of her children. By isolating Drew and making the Quartermaine estate a sanctuary for Willow, Tracy could potentially drive a wedge between them, making it easier to control the situation.

Tracy, a woman known for her cunning intelligence, should understand this. But instead of following a more calculated plan, Tracy seems to be letting her emotions drive her actions, which might ultimately backfire. Her obsession with Willow’s relationship with Drew could prove to be her undoing if she doesn’t take a more measured approach.

Tracy’s Complaints About the Quartermaine Mansion and the Kids

Another example of Tracy’s mixed signals is her attitude toward the Quartermaine mansion and its role as a home for the next generation. On one hand, Tracy has expressed a willingness to go to extreme lengths to protect the children, even to the point of being willing to go to prison for them. Yet, in the next breath, she’s complaining about how crowded the mansion has become with the younger Quartermaines running around.

This back-and-forth creates a sense of instability for Tracy’s character. She can’t seem to make up her mind about whether she’s willing to go to bat for the kids or whether she’s simply tired of them cluttering up her space. The hypocrisy of these complaints is not lost on fans, especially as they come from a character who has always prided herself on her position of power within the Quartermaine family. It seems as though Tracy is torn between wanting control and needing to be surrounded by her family.

Is Tracy’s Behavior Part of a Larger Problem?

Tracy’s erratic behavior could be more than just a temporary outburst—it could signify something deeper. The loss of Monica as a sparring partner has left a void that Tracy has been filling with anger and frustration. She’s been taking her feelings out on anyone who crosses her path, and the result is a character who seems to be spiraling.

Perhaps Tracy needs to take a step back, get some perspective, and “touch some grass” as the saying goes. A break from the chaos of the Quartermaine mansion and some time for self-reflection might help her recalibrate. Or, maybe this is the beginning of a new chapter for Tracy—one where she has to confront her emotions and her relationship with her family.

Fans are hopeful that Tracy will find a way to channel her intense energy in a more productive direction. Whether it’s focusing on more strategic revenge or finding a way to reconcile with the people she’s been alienating, it’s clear that Tracy needs to make some changes before her behavior alienates everyone around her. Otherwise, she risks being the one person left standing at the edge of the Quartermaine estate, watching it all crumble.

Tracy Quartermaine has long been a beloved character on General Hospital, but recent developments have left many wondering if her behavior is getting out of control. From her relentless vendetta against Willow and Drew to her shifting views on the Quartermaine kids, Tracy is clearly in a state of flux. Whether this is a temporary phase or a deeper reflection of an emotional crisis, one thing is certain: Tracy needs to find a way to regain her footing before she pushes everyone too far. Fans will be watching closely to see how this all unfolds.
