Viewers of Emmerdale believe they have uncovered the disturbing fate of Anthony Fox’s remains, with suspicions centered around John Sugden.

Anthony (played by Nicholas Day) met his end earlier this month after his horrific past was exposed. 

Fans will remember his arrival last year as Ruby Fox-Miligan’s (Beth Cordingly) estranged father, a revelation that sent her life spiraling out of control.

His return led to turmoil, pushing Ruby into an affair with her brother-in-law, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). 

Eventually, the devastating truth was revealed—Anthony had sexually abused Ruby when she was just 14 and was, 

in fact, the biological father of her daughter, Steph (Georgia Jay), rather than Caleb Miligan (William Ash).

Once Anthony’s terrible crimes came to light, many villagers, including Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), were determined to seek justice. Haunted by his own past trauma of childhood abuse, Aaron attacked Anthony, leaving him for dead.

Aaron’s partner, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), then took charge of disposing of the body, keeping its location hidden. However, it was later revealed that Ruby was the one who ultimately killed Anthony after Aaron had left.

In a gripping episode on Wednesday, February 26, Chas and Aaron were seen contemplating whether they should confess to the police. However, John soon revealed the secret burial site of Anthony’s body, hidden deep within the forest.
