Coronation Street has unveiled a dramatic new trailer, hinting at a tense and action-packed storyline as Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) makes a desperate attempt to escape from prison.

The high-stakes plot puts both Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) in grave danger, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.

Carla, his estranged sister, has been anxiously awaiting news on whether Rob is a suitable kidney donor for her. 

However, despite his family ties, Rob’s true intentions have nothing to do with helping Carla—his focus remains solely on his own escape.

Unbeknownst to many, Rob has been secretly involved in a romantic relationship with prison guard Mandy, who is aiding him in his elaborate escape plan. Their scheme hinges on Rob’s hospitalisation, which presents the perfect opportunity for him to break free.

However, their covert plan is soon at risk of being exposed when Detective Lisa Swain starts to piece together the truth. Realising that Rob and Mandy are conspiring to stage an escape, Lisa quickly intervenes, attempting to convince Rob to go through with the kidney donation instead.
