“When we were filming that, Ben, do you remember all the problems we had with the weather? It snowed, didn’t it, the first night?” he recalled.

Due to the severe snowfall, the cast and crew had to wrap up earlier than planned, with filming originally set to continue until 4 a.m. Shepherd added, “My call time was 11 o’clock at night. Then they said, ‘No, everyone’s going home at 9 because the snow was so bad.’”

Despite the setbacks, the Coronation Street team managed to pull off the intense scenes, although some fans spotted a glaring continuity issue during the fire sequence.

Shona Platt’s Escape Sparks Confusion Among Viewers
