David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and pregnant Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) are caught in a horrific accident

The week kicks off with tension running high as David Platt prepares to support his son Max in court. However, things take a disastrous turn when a shocking attack threatens David’s safety. Later, as he drowns his sorrows in alcohol, tragedy strikes.

After downing vodka at lunchtime, David stumbles out onto the street, just as Daisy rushes out of the pub following a heated argument with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). In a devastating moment, a speeding car plows into both David and Daisy, sending them crashing to the ground.

Witnesses rush to their aid, with Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) desperately trying to stop David’s severe bleeding while Jenny and Daniel fear the worst for Daisy and her unborn child. As the ambulance is called, the fate of both victims remains uncertain.
