It’s on the cards. We get 12-month contracts, so yes, I’m currently in another 12-month contract that’s been a rolling thing for the last few years.”
Aston’s commitment to the soap and his character’s journey is clear, as he stated that as long as he continues to enjoy his time on the show and *Coronation Street* wants him, he will stay. “I never rest on my laurels. I wouldn’t like to think I’m irreplaceable or anything like that. But as long as they want me and I’m enjoying it, I’ll stay.”
