Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has addressed the possibility of reprising her role as Michelle Connor, years after she bid farewell to the cobbled streets of Weatherfield.

The actress became a household name after joining the ITV soap in 2006, portraying the strong-willed and independent Michelle for 13 years. 

However, in 2019, she made the difficult decision to step away from the show to explore new opportunities in acting and television presenting.

“This isn’t the last you’ve heard of Michelle Connor—she’ll be back! I can’t wait to see what the writers have in store for the future.”
