Television legend Sean Wilson, best known for his iconic role as Martin Platt in Coronation Street, is offering fans a unique gift idea just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The 59-year-old actor, who spent two decades portraying Martin Platt on the ITV soap,

Sean’s career took an exciting turn after his exit from the soap, when he turned his focus to artisan cheesemaking. A self-taught chef with a passion for French cuisine, Sean’s journey into the culinary world has led him to work in some of the country’s most prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants.

In 2011, Sean launched The Saddleworth Cheese Company with his ex-partner Susie Fenwick, and the company has since won numerous awards for its sharp, strong-flavored cheeses. In a powerful statement to The Sun, Sean shared his pain, saying, “My reputation was ruined in just eight minutes — my whole world blown apart,” as he reflected on the personal toll the situation had taken on him.
