General Hospital Spoiler: Is Brennan testing Joss for recruitment into the WSB? The answer is about to be revealed after he informs Carly of his latest decision!

The drama surrounding General Hospital takes another interesting turn as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets caught up in the web of Jack Brennan’s (Bradford Anderson) intrigue.

Introduced to Josslyn during Christmas at her mother Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house,

Brennan was immediately impressed by the young woman’s intelligence, passion, and tenacity, traits she shares with her mother.

However, rather than focus on her medical career—something Joss

has been uncertain about—Brennan sees potential in Joss as a future international spy, and he’s setting the stage for her to get involved in some espionage action.

Brennan’s Intriguing Assignment for Josslyn

Though Josslyn has been considering a career in medicine, her recent experiences have led her to second-guess that path. This indecisiveness, combined with her determination and sharp mind, caught Brennan’s attention. Instead of outright offering her an invitation into the world of the WSB (World Security Bureau), Brennan subtly encouraged Josslyn to pursue the information on her own. After all, why directly give her the answers when he could turn it into a test of her resourcefulness?

The catalyst for this interaction stems from the ongoing mystery of who is responsible for the stabbing of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) at Rice Plaza. Though Brennan already knows who committed the crime, he chooses not to reveal this information directly to Joss. Instead, he gives her a list of potential witnesses from the day of the stabbing, prompting Joss to take matters into her own hands. This decision by Brennan is more than just a simple assignment; it’s a way for him to see if Josslyn, much like her mother Carly, has the same determination and skills to become a capable agent.

Josslyn’s Determination Mirrors Her Mother’s

As Josslyn investigates the stabbing, she crosses paths with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) at the hospital, where she’s visiting her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Felicia, who has a strong memory of the events at Rice Plaza, helps Joss by recalling a key detail: the bells at Rice Plaza stopped ringing just before Dex was stabbed. This crucial bit of information brings Joss one step closer to uncovering the truth. Brennan, who has been watching from a distance, sees a future super spy in the making, with Josslyn showing the same drive and investigative instincts her mother has demonstrated over the years.

The fact that Brennan saw potential in Josslyn also speaks to his growing admiration for her and the way she handles tough situations. His experience in the world of espionage allows him to recognize the qualities that could make Josslyn successful in that world. She’s not just another young woman with a passing interest in adventure—she has the skills, resourcefulness, and sheer willpower that would make her a formidable agent.

Josslyn’s Obstacles: Her Mother’s Concern and Her Own Path

While Brennan may be grooming Josslyn for a future as a spy, it’s clear that Carly’s protective instincts could be a major obstacle for Joss in her journey. As a mother, Carly has already lost so much over the years, and the idea of her daughter being involved in the dangerous world of international espionage is not one she’d take lightly. Carly’s fears for her daughter’s safety could be a serious point of tension if Josslyn becomes more involved with Brennan and the WSB.

However, much like her mother, Josslyn is determined and won’t back down from a challenge. The fact that she has her mother’s fire and drive means that if she decides to pursue this dangerous path, she won’t let anyone—including Carly—stand in her way. Josslyn’s journey into the world of espionage would undoubtedly test her resolve, but if she’s anything like her mother, she’ll rise to the occasion.

Brennan’s Agenda and His Relationship with Carly

Brennan’s involvement with Carly and her family adds an extra layer of complexity to his relationship with Josslyn. While he seems intrigued by Carly’s daughter, Brennan has been trying to recruit Carly’s longtime associate, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), for the WSB. Jason, however, has repeatedly turned him down, warning Carly to be wary of Brennan’s true motives. Jason’s instincts about Brennan’s trustworthiness are still up in the air, and viewers are left wondering whether Brennan’s interest in Josslyn is purely professional—or if it’s motivated by something else entirely.

Will Josslyn Join the WSB?

As Josslyn navigates her own future, it’s clear that she has a lot of options before her. Her potential involvement with the WSB could lead to thrilling storylines, but whether she’ll follow in her mother’s footsteps as an international spy or carve out her own path remains to be seen. If Brennan continues to push her toward that future, she may find herself at a crossroads. But one thing is for sure—Josslyn has what it takes to be successful, and if she embraces this new challenge, the WSB could have a future star on its hands.

For now, viewers will have to stay tuned to General Hospital to see how Josslyn’s journey unfolds and whether she will follow Brennan’s mysterious assignment to its conclusion. Whatever the outcome, one thing is clear: Josslyn’s future is sure to be filled with intrigue, danger, and the kind of suspense that makes GH a must-watch.
