Emmerdale viewers are reeling after the latest episode left them with a huge cliffhanger: the mysterious death of Anthony Fox. 

With Anthony found dead at the end of the episode, fans are now desperately trying to piece together the clues and figure out who is responsible for his demise. 

As tensions rose throughout the episode, numerous characters had motives, leading to an abundance of theories about who might have ended Anthony’s life.

The episode began with Ruby and Caleb finally reuniting, 

after Caleb made a shocking discovery that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby during her teenage years and was the biological father of Ruby’s daughter, Steph. 

This revelation was a bombshell for Ruby and Caleb, whose marriage had been hanging by a thread ever since Caleb found out the truth. 

Ruby, devastated by the past and Anthony’s manipulation, was eager to move forward, but their reunion did not sit well with Steph, who was still unaware of her biological father’s identity. In a fit of anger, Steph stormed off to find Anthony, setting the stage for the chaotic events that followed.

Meanwhile, Anthony had woken up in a B&B after a night of heavy drinking. He ran into Steph and tried to brush off their confrontation, claiming he had to go tutor Angelica. As tensions continued to build, Nicola sent Angelica out of the room after hearing a warning from Chas about Anthony being a potential danger to children. When Nicola confronted Anthony about his dangerous past, he became enraged. Their argument escalated into violence, with Anthony attacking Nicola. It was only when Laurel intervened and knocked Anthony unconscious that the situation temporarily calmed down.

However, things soon took another dark turn. As Anthony recovered and left, he crossed paths with Ruby. The two exchanged heated words, with Anthony threatening Ruby, and the air thick with animosity. Just as this confrontation unfolded, Aaron arrived on the scene and grew suspicious of the tension between Ruby and Anthony. No one revealed the truth to Aaron, but it was clear that something sinister was unfolding. Meanwhile, Chas took the opportunity to confide in Cain, revealing to him the truth about Anthony’s past actions. This revelation shocked Cain, but little did he know that it would be the start of a chain of events that would lead to Anthony’s shocking death.

The most dramatic moment of the episode came at the very end when Caleb, visibly enraged and desperate, demanded that Anthony get into his car. Fans quickly noticed that Caleb was hiding a gun, further suggesting that the situation was about to escalate violently. As Caleb and Anthony drove off together, the episode ended with a flash-forward, showing Anthony’s lifeless body lying on the ground. The screen cut to black, leaving fans gasping for answers and sparking an outpouring of theories online.

Theories about who killed Anthony are running rampant on social media, with many fans pointing the finger at Caleb. Some argue that Caleb, having recently discovered the truth about his father-in-law’s abuse of Ruby, might have taken matters into his own hands.
