However, Tom being Tom, he wasn’t going to make things that easy for Belle. So, he used his relationship with Amelia Spencer as a way to lure Belle Dingle out for a solitary meeting. Belle arrived thinking she was meeting Amelia but was shocked to find Tom there instead. A struggle ensued between them that ended in Belle plunging an axe in Tom’s back.

Emmerdale Spoilers reveal that Belle then ran back to her family, and informed Lydia, Sam and Vinny that she had in fact killed Tom. Vinny then rushed over to check Tom, and indeed found Tom’s rather lifeless body with the axe still stuck in his back. He returned to inform the rest of the family that Tom was dead.

Lydia then deduced that it would be best to do away with Tom’s body because going to the police would mean sending Belle to jail. Vinny tried to reason with the rest of the family that they should inform the police and claim that it was self-defence. However, Lydia stood firm on her decision to get rid of Tom’s body. To their utter shock, when they reached the crime scene, Tom was gone. They realized that Tom may have survived the stabbing.

EM/ Belle runs to her family
