However, viewers are worried that this was not enough to finish the villain off and have predicted an upcoming twist.

Belle has been trying to save Tom King’s new girlfriend Amelia from facing the same fate she did.
She reported him to the police after discovering he had installed a webcam in her house to spy on her.
As Tom fell under investigation, Amelia was left feeling protective and agreed to do anything he asked to stop Belle from ‘threatening’ their relationship.
The teen told Belle she wanted to meet up one-on-one to discuss reporting Tom to the police together.
However, she actually set Belle up, sending Tom to meet the woman instead.
Tom attacked Belle for daring to speak to the cops about his behaviour and threw her to the ground, hitting her again and again until she was covered in blood.
The traumatised woman threatened him with a gun to escape, but he managed to tackle her and take the weapon, mocking her for not even knowing how to use it properly.
Belle finally snapped and stabbed the evil man in the back with an axe.
She fled the scene after seeing him lying motionless on the ground and seems to think that the injury killed him.
But Emmerdale fans have a very different perspective.
Taking to an online forum, one person angrily questioned: “Why didn’t she go for the head? He’s probably not dead but is definitely going to be paralysed or something.
“She will be arrested probably but she is covered in bruises and while both their fingerprints are on the gun, his will be on the safety so hopefully that will help her.”
Another person added: “He probably is faking but I do hope she hit his spine n his legs won’t work now.”
